Case hand made by Beppy Berlin. The front of the case is worked in Hapsburg lace canvas work stitches using white perle cotton on brown 16 count mono canvas. In-between the bands of canvas work stitches is couched down blue ribbon and flowers worked in DMC embroidery cotton. The back of the case is covered in blue cotton fabric as is the inside, with a pocket to slide flat items into like photographs, or written keepsakes. The inside is also partially lined with fine yellow felt – the felt has deteriorated over time and needs to be replaced with a new piece of felt. Approximate time it took to make: 18 hours.
