The Blackwork Star is a beginners design that is worked from a chart. Accompanying the chart are detailed instructions with step-by-step instructions and diagrams on how to work the blackwork star. The star is embellished with gold spangles and beads and Japan thread and the background is worked in random stitched gold stars. I offer this design at a lower cost for groups. The star is not intended to be worked on 14 or 16 count Aida due to some of the stitches being worked over an odd number of threads of the fabric, so you should be able to count on 28 count or 32 count fabric. A stitching light and magnification are an asset to work the embroidery.
