25% discount off retail price when six or more Hapsburg Lace Mosaic Sampler kits or instructions are ordered in one order. The kits can be different colour canvas and thread. The sampler is a fun project to work in a group, such as at a embroiderers guild meeting or retreat. The Hapsburg Lace Mosaic Sampler is an advanced canvas work design worked in perle cotton on 18 count mono canvas. This design is a bit more technical in comparison to the other Hapsburg Lace designs and is great for those who want to do some more involved canvas work stitches. The Hapsburg lace technique gets is name from a Lady from the Hapsburg dynasty who developed the style, selecting the most lacy canvas stitches to mimic real lace in the form of needlework. The Hapsburg lace patterns are worked from a chart and the instruction booklet in the kit has lots of step-by-step diagrams and instructions on how to work each pattern. To get nice holes at the center of the eyelets without having to pull hard on the stitches (which can distort the canvas) I suggest using a brass stiletto…..enlarge the hole in the canvas prior to stitching the eyelet. This design can be worked in the hand or in a 13 inch by 17 inch stretcher bar frame. I am offering free on-going critique with this kit…..you can email me at any time if you have questions or would like me to critique your embroidery.
